Over the last week or so, we touched on the fact that the human element has been pretty much eliminated, not only with most St Louis Screen Printing and embroidery companies but pretty much every other industry out there. Nobody wants to answer their phone anymore and this is been the ongoing trend for many years now. When you think about it, just by receiving a call gives you a tremendous advantage and credibility right from the very start, well before you even have the job. People are so accustomed to not getting a person that when they finally do, they’re a little taken back by it but in a good way.

The more we know about a person and their objectives, the better chance we have of trying to come up with viable solutions, to any potential obstacles that they might be facing, such as limited budgets and extremely short turnaround times. Clear and concise communication is paramount, when it comes to achieving one’s confidence and, conveying your abilities to be able to not only come up with a good price point on their digital custom t-shirt printing, but also assuring them that if they entrust you with their job, you’re not only going to process it with excellence, but it’s going to be received on time. This is something that an email response is just not going to lend itself to nearly as effectively. If we end up doing business on this small custom t-shirt order, that’s all well and good but that’s actually the small picture. The big picture is that hopefully we can work something out that’s going to be equally conducive to everyone involved in this process and if we could do that, we can hopefully work together 10 years down the line.
